Ajna Sharma Wilson
Ajna Sharma Wilson has been a yoga teacher for over 15 years and had a lifelong journey with yoga. She has lived in India and continues her training with Yoga Vida Dahm located in various parts of the world. She has worked in hospitals and clinics with Yoga Nidra, helping people of all ages, including with addiction therapies and in end of life hospice. Her vast knowledge comes from various areas of law, clinical psychology, and food nutrition. She is available to teach, consult and coach.
Motivation
It is her wish that all of humanity attain joy and peace.
She believes in harmony and balance, along with developing personal aspects of observation.
Yoga Nidra has never been more needed in our world and she is happy to share this practice.
Results
Yoga nidra (Sanskrit: योग निद्रा) or yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage, typically induced by a guided meditation.
There is evidence that yoga nidra helps relieve stress. An ancient technique from India, it has now spread worldwide and is also being applied by the US Army to assist soldiers to recover from post-traumatic stress disorder.
